Meet Our Team!
Phil Sloan
Founder and President
Our Founder, Phil Sloan, is a graduate of Harvard College and the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law who spent nearly thirty years in the field of sports management and marketing before launching Campus Connections. Phil has held various senior management, marketing and sales positions at such prominent athlete representation firms as ProServ, Advantage International, and Woolf Associates, and at such renowned advertising and public relations firms as Hill & Knowlton, Mullen and Arnold Worldwide.
Steve Maislin
Co-Founder and Vice President
Our Co-Founder, Steve Maislin, received undergraduate degree from Harvard College, his Masters in Chemical Engineering from Penn State University, and his Masters in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina. Steve has held senior management positions in various industries over the past thirty years before partnering with Phil to launch Campus Connections in 2012.
Joanne Hingston
Director of Operational Management
Joanne is a graduate of Bentley College, and has worked in a various management roles over the past twenty years before joining Campus Connections, maintains our database of clients, partners, and college students.
Michael Clasby
Executive Director
Michael graduated from Bennington College and worked for several start-ups in Manhattan before joining our Campus Connections team. Michael plays several senior management roles within our fledgling organization, including our college marketing activitiy.
Becca Shuman
Manager, Marketing Communications
Becca Shuman, a creative, talented and energetic junior at Washington University in St. Louis, is responsible for maintaining our web site and our Facebook page, designing our collateral materials, and managing our college marketing internship program.
Jess Klein
Manager, College Marketing
Jess Klein, a Journalism major at the Univesity of Massachusetts in Amherst who will be graduating in December, is helping us to grow our network of college students so that by April, we expect to reach 300 campuses across the country!
Katrina Zaralides
Manager, Client Services
Katrina Zaralides, a University of Massachusetts graduate who has held various positions on the Campus Connections team over this past year, currently manages our international partner relationships, while also responsible for our client services.
